Properties
ARI IR Series window film is a clear nano-ceramic film, 2 mil thick, rejecting up to 60% of total solar energy and up to 96% of infrared rays. It is a common choice for daily-drive heat control.
The film is metal-free, so it never interferes with GPS, and it blocks 99% of UV rays. Its cool blue tone keeps the view comfortable under bright sun.
Because the heat rejection comes from a ceramic layer rather than a metal one, the film keeps a clear look instead of the mirrored finish older metallised tints are known for. At 2 mil it stays thin enough for smooth installation on curved glass, including the windshield.
